The Hope for Our Youth HIV/AIDS National Awareness Campaign
In response to the always increasing new cases of HIV/AIDS, WOW! Productions /J4L Foundation has founded the Hope for Our Youth (HFOY), HIV/AIDS National Awareness Campaign. The Hope for Our Youth, HIV/AIDS National Awareness Campaign launched statewide in Northern California in August, 2005 and became national in January of 2006. They believe that this campaign is a great opportunity for people to get involved in promoting HIV/AIDS awareness in their communities. With your support this campaign will bring awareness to the importance of being tested for HIV/AIDS. In the U.S., complacency had set in regarding HIV/AIDS. Many people believe that because medical technology has progressed to a point where infected people can live longer, HIV/AIDS should no longer be a priority; this is contradicted by the latest statistics supplied by the Centers for Disease. WOW! and HFOY want their audience to escape fear and be aware of the cause/effects of not being tested for HIV/AIDS. They believe that all should get Tested, get their results and live their lives! With your support they will be able to bring awareness to this pandemic HIV/AIDS. If you are interested in making a monetary donation to the Hope for Our Youth™ HIV/AIDS National Awareness Campaign please contact , WOW! Productions, Inc./J4L. Foundation, Inc™ today. Ways to Monitor Your Child's Growth: Help Detect Developmental Probelms Earlier
It’s time to change how we view a child’s growth. It’s natural to measure your child’s height and weight. But you should measure other ways your child is growing, too. From birth to 5 years, there are milestones your child should reach in terms of how he/she plays, learns, speaks, and acts. A delay in any of these areas could be a sign of a developmental problem, even autism. The good news is, the earlier it’s recognized the more you can do to help your child reach her full potential. Talk with a doctor or nurse about your child’s total development. You can also click here to visit their website or call 1-800-CDC-INFO. This message is from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Learn the Signs. Act Early.
